Who am I?

I am a care leader, trainer, and advisor with a background shaped by lived experience, within health and social care.

After spending 17 years as a CQC Registered Manager in a nursing home I developed a deep understanding of culture, identity, responsibility, and trust across communities.

Alongside my management role, I have led the Registered Managers Forum since 2016 in Solihull, built on consistency, independence and trust. RMF now continues within Alka Care Solutions, remaining independent while benefitting from stronger structure and support—a trusted, peer-led space for managers to connect, reflect, and support one another through the realities of frontline leadership.

Through Alka Care Solutions, I now support care providers, leaders, and faith-based settings to embed culture-led, safeguarding-focused practice using practical frameworks such as the Culture Clock and Safeguarding Clock, because care never stops, and neither should accountability, dignity, or protection.
